Siemens seeks a Technical Sales Support Professional to join the Technical PreSales Support Team. You will assist the Sales Team with automation products, especially SCADA, and support customers during machine configuration to meet requirements.

You will present technical updates and collaborate with headquarters to drive Siemens products in the Italian market. The role emphasizes being the Italian technical reference, sharing knowledge, and building optimal automation solutions for customers,

Competenze

• Must have a degree in Computer Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• Strong interest in automation products (HMI, SCADA, PLC, network devices).
• Good communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel within Italy for business.
• Basic knowledge of IT-style programming languages (preferably JavaScript).
• Familiarity with PLC, HMI & SCADA, Motion Control.

Your role:

As Technical Sales Support Professional, you will be part of Technical PreSales Support Team, as reference for the Sales Team about Siemens Automation Products under your responsibility (especially SCADA products). Your day-to-day activities will include support to sales team to be updated on all news of automation products and supporting customers during the configuration of new machines, to find the best possible solution to their requirements. You’ll be also involved in presentations to colleagues and customers to show them technical news of Siemens Products and you will work in close collaboration with headquarter to push the products in the Italian market.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Sharing technical information with colleagues and customers
• Collaborating with Product Manager and Headquarter to push in the best way your products in Italian market
• Building the best automation solutions for Customers

Core Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• Passion and curiosity for technical details of the Automation Products (HMI, Scada, PLC, Network devices…)
• Strong orientation to reach the targets and focused on customers, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team
• Desire to share your knowledge with others and good communication skills
• Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken;
• Available for business national trips
• General Knowledge of IT-style programming languages (preferably JavaScript);
• General knowledge of PLC, HMI & SCADA, Motion Control;

Preferred Requirements

• Some experience in industrial automation systems and SCADA or HMI programming
• Experience with SIMATIC WinCC Unified
• Experience in the usage of generative AI tools.

The total pay range for this position is €38000–€49000 annually. The actual offer will be determined within this range, based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
