Job Description:

We offer an interesting opportunity to join our Quality Operations team, based in Bussolengo (VR), as Junior Supplier Quality Engineer, reporting to the Supplier Quality Engineer Supervisor.

In this position, you will support activities for supplier performance management, supplier audits, production flow validation, and monitoring. Specifically, you will handle product approval (PPAP, FAI), supplier performance monitoring (KPI, SCAR management), and planning and conducting supplier audits.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Supplier Qualification: Collaborate with the International Supply Chain to select, qualify, and develop new suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met.
  2. Supplier Audit: Conduct audits at supplier facilities to evaluate their Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulations such as ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
  3. Supplier Monitoring: Use statistical techniques and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze processes, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  4. External Process Validation: Support suppliers in developing and validating manufacturing processes, including qualification of tools and testing methods.
  5. Supplier non-conformities and SCAR management: Manage non-conformities, coordinate root cause investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in mechanical, biomedical engineering, or similar preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, R&D, or process engineering, preferably in the medical device sector or other regulated industries.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and related regulations.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), and quality control methodologies.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and lead investigations.
  • Basic knowledge of technical design, process audits, measurement analysis (MSA, R&R), problem solving (8D, FMEA), and Control Plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to interact effectively with operational departments.

Employment Details:
