About the role

We are seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer to contribute to developing core back-end systems that enable automated optimization of modern applications.

You will work on an innovative platform utilizing AI to automate observability, testing, and tuning of software stacks.

You’ll collaborate with an experienced engineering team to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs. This role offers great growth opportunities in software development, DevOps, and performance engineering, working closely with Product Managers and end users.

We believe bridging the gap between developers and users results in better understanding and solutions — your ideas and contributions will matter from day one.

What you bring

As a Software Engineer, you will :

• Contribute to product development by writing testable, shippable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to promote good coding practices.
• Engage in team rituals such as daily stand-ups, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Work with product and engineering teams to refine feature requirements and design.
• Support testing and deployment using modern CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to evaluate design choices focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in backend or full-stack development (including internships)
• Passion for building impactful applications at scale, applying best coding practices and tools.
• Experience with Java programming.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
• Interest in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to collaborate.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about cloud technologies, performance engineering, and DevOps practices.

Nice to have (but not required)

• Experience with Spring framework and non-relational databases like Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools.
• Interest in performance tuning and machine learning concepts.
