In our Earth Observation Business Units, we develop state-of-the-art software solutions for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Optical systems. The candidate will become a specialist in data processing, working with data acquired from satellites, drones, and ground sensors. The role involves proposing innovative, efficient, and smart processing algorithms to be developed in C/C++ and Python.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data processing solutions, leveraging advanced development strategies and High Performance Computing techniques.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance scientific libraries and applications for RADAR data processing;
• Review, validate, and optimize code;
• Support the technological evolution of processing libraries and tools;
• Develop and integrate innovative algorithms and processing techniques with the R&D team.

Specific skills:

• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming;
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration;
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++;
• Knowledge of RADAR and SAR system fundamentals;
• Background in Electronics or Telecommunications is a plus.

Education and experience:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer, Telecommunication, or Electronic Engineering;
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field.
