The Role

Reporting to the Sales Lead for Italy, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) based in Milan, you will play a crucial role in expanding Wallbox’s partner network and acquiring new partners that fit our ideal client profile. This field-based role involves regular visits to partner branches across Italy, working closely with a CSM/Senior Account Executive. You will serve as a brand ambassador, updating partners on our solutions, providing training, increasing sales, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to boost market share in Italy’s EV sector.

You Will
  • Map out locations within Italy in the Wallbox partner network
  • Grow the partner network by identifying and closing new opportunities
  • Develop strategies and action plans to improve sales within partners
  • Follow up on sales activities daily using Salesforce
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals
  • Collaborate with the sales team in Barcelona and Milan to create new opportunities
  • Organize and execute in-store marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness
  • Build relationships with existing clients to increase sales
  • Work with your CSM/Account Executive to meet joint targets
  • Report sales activities and collaborate on marketing initiatives
  • Provide feedback on local market needs to HQ
  • Help establish realistic sales goals for the region
Requirements
  • Relevant business development experience in B2B markets
  • Experience in EV charging solutions or distribution channels is a plus
  • Proven success in end-to-end sales in the Italian market
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Autonomous, proactive, and field-oriented
  • Strong commercial, networking, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and upsell
  • History of exceeding targets in a leading organization
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Ambitious with a desire for professional growth
  • Native Italian speaker with fluent English skills
