JUNIOR RISK ANALYST - MARKET AND CREDIT RISK

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The Risk Management department of Allianz Italia is seeking a Market and Credit Risk Analyst to handle investments and financial risk topics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Calculation and analysis of Risk Capital results using Internal Models and Standard Formula.
2. Management of investment and ALM risks.
3. Development and parameterization of models for Solvency II and internal steering purposes.
4. Model risk management.
5. Supporting risk-based investment and business steering.
6. Monitoring risk management topics across business processes such as ALM, regulatory risk monitoring, and strategy support.
7. Design and calculation of regulatory and ad-hoc stress tests.
8. Interaction and support to other teams, including qualitative risk management.
9. Coordination with business lines and actuarial functions.
10. Supporting internal and external risk reporting (e.g., ORSA) to stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

1. Master's degree in quantitative economics/finance, statistics, actuarial sciences, or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of basic financial and credit risk metrics (e.g., VaR, ES, Durations).
3. Basic data analysis skills.
4. Technical knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or VBA.
5. Knowledge of insurance balance sheets or business is advantageous.
6. Good communication and presentation skills.
7. Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
