RINA is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer for its Bolzano office within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division. The role focuses on applying quality plans, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AQAP 2110/2310, and NATO standards in defense automotive programs.

Responsibilities include document verification, system integration checks, and supporting validation activities for military vehicle projects.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance in engineering or industrial environments, preferably automotive or defence sectors.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AQAP 2110/2310, and familiarity with NATO or military standards.
• Ability to review and assess technical documentation, specifications, and engineering deliverables.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join its office in Bolzano within the Sustainability and Business InnovationDivision.

Mission

The selected candidate will supportProduct Assurance activities within complex engineering programs in the Defense Automotive sector, ensuring the proper implementation of quality processes, configuration management practices, and compliance with applicable military and automotive standards.

The role will contribute to monitoring the quality of project deliverables, verifying technical documentation, supporting system validation activities, and assisting the project team in achieving milestones, ensuring alignment with company quality management systems and defence automotive regulations and standards applicable to military vehicle development.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure the correct application of the Project Quality Plan and support the project team in achieving quality objectives and process compliance.
• Verify the correct implementation of company quality processes and standards (e.g.,ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AQAP 2110 / AQAP 2310) within project activities.
• Review and support the approval of technical documentation and specifications, contributing to the release of the Technical Data Package (e.g., drawings, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, technical requirements, analyses, reports, and test procedures).
• Support product acceptance and verification activities, including document checks and validation of test tools and procedures forqualification and validation ofmilitary vehicles and subsystems.

Education

Master’s Degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience inQuality Assurance or Product Assurance in engineering or industrial environments, preferably in automotive or defence sectors
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AQAP 2110 / 2310, and familiarity with NATO or military standards(e.g., STANAG, MIL-STD where applicable).
• Ability to review and assess technical documentation, specifications, and engineering deliverables.
• Basic understanding of system integration, verification, and validation activities in complex systems (vehicles or subsystems).

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between€32,000.00 and €40,000.00 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.

In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.

The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
