TEAMSYSTEM SPA, a leading tech company in Italy, is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to application modernization projects. The role focuses on developing innovative Python-based solutions and integrating AI functionalities into legacy systems.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of software development experience and solid Python skills. The position offers a total compensation of €33,000 – €37,000, a hybrid working model, and various benefits including a wellbeing digital wallet and tailored learning paths.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to application modernization projects, developing innovative Python‑based solutions and supporting the transition of legacy systems toward modern, AI‑integrated architectures.
• Develop integrations between legacy systems and modern solutions, including SaaS applications.
• Integrate internally developed artificial intelligence functionalities into existing systems.
• Translate requirements into code to create, improve and maintain high‑quality software.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in software development.
• Solid knowledge of the Python programming language.
• Experience using AI‑powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or similar).
• Ability to work with legacy codebases and contribute to their evolution through innovative, AI‑driven approaches.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (C1 level).
