Qualifications

• Some underwriting experience is preferred; however, you are welcome to apply if you have other professional experience.
• The ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal Property business to support profitable growth.
• Assess risk by reviewing broker submissions, historical claims, and company information.
• Maintain regular contact with brokers and build strong broker relationships.
• Provide monthly management information including submissions, bind rate, and premium totals.
• Attend broker events and expand your broker network as part of the sales plan.
