RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager - Energy, Water and Resource Efficiency Engineering to join its office in XXXX within the ESG and Sustainability Project Management Division.

Mission

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting project execution and assisting in task coordination to ensure successful project delivery. Working under a Project Manager's guidance, they help manage resources, monitor timelines, and maintain effective communication among team members and clients.

The Energy, Water and Resource Efficiency Project Management Team of RINA seeks a highly motivated individual to support projects related to green energy transition, industrial/buildings energy efficiency, agribusiness, biofuels production, and proposal preparation.

The successful candidate should have a passion for the energy transition and green economy sectors, good communication skills, and a strong teamwork attitude. Project management experience is required. Knowledge of International Financing Institutions as clients will be advantageous.

Key Accountabilities

• Support general project management activities, understanding client needs and coordinating with technical teams efficiently.
• Assist with technical due diligences in the renewable energy sector, focusing on energy and biomethane production plants.
• Coordinate with internal and external experts for project assessments, including documentation review, site visits, and report preparation.
• Engage with local consultants and ensure project quality standards.
• Identify new project opportunities, prepare technical proposals, and estimate costs.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of experience in similar roles is a plus.

Experience in Energy Sector and Technologies

• Knowledge or experience with International Financing Institutions is a plus.
• Understanding of industry standards, safety, and quality control relevant to the sector is advantageous.
• Experience with energy audits, energy balances, and ISO 50001 standards is beneficial.
• Passion for learning and contributing to the energy transition.
• Excellent English communication skills; Spanish skills are a plus.
• Ability to produce well-structured, concise reports and proposals.
• Availability for short business trips within and outside the EU.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
