CMCC Foundation in Lecce, Italy, invites applications for a Junior Project Manager to support the operational management of its European and national research projects. Working with the Senior Project Manager, you will help plan, implement, monitor and report the full project lifecycle, from pre-award to closure.

You will also assist with dissemination, communication, and stakeholder engagement, coordinating with researchers, partners, and CMCC’s Communication Office, while developing content

Competenze

• Master’s degree in project management, communication, economics, political science, international relations, social sciences, environmental sciences, digital media or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in project management, project support, communication, dissemination or outreach activities, preferably within European and/or national research projects.
• Experience in supporting project administration, reporting, budget monitoring and compliance.
• Experience in communication and dissemination activities within research, academic, institutional or project-based environments.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare clear and effective written and visual communication materials for different audiences.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Very good command of Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Mansioni

• Project management and coordination: support planning, coordination, and monitoring of European and national research projects.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and resource allocation.
• Support budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting.
• Contribute to the preparation of project management deliverables, technical reports, and financial documentation.
• Support compliance with contractual, legal, institutional, and funding requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support day-to-day project administration.
• Support project reviews, audits, and monitoring activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day interactions with researchers, internal teams, consortium partners, donors, and funding bodies.
• Support pre-award activities, including proposal preparation, budget development, and project design.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices within ADIC.
• Communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement: support planning and implementation of dissemination, communication, and engagement activities.
• Develop and update project websites and digital channels with news, events, and results.
• Prepare communication materials, including presentations, factsheets, newsletters, visuals, and social media posts.
• Coordinate inputs from researchers and partners to ensure timely dissemination of activities and results.
• Support stakeholder mapping and engagement activities.
• Organise project events, workshops, meetings, and webinars.
• Contribute to public deliverables and reports related to dissemination and communication.
