La figura si occuperà della progettazione e gestione di progetti rinnovabili, supportando i processi di autorizzazione e lavorando in team multidisciplinari. Role Information

Currently, for the company Progetti Srl in Milan (MI), part of the group, we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

1. Screening sites for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage) based on European, national, and regional regulations, using GIS tools and reporting.
2. Supporting review and validation of environmental, landscape, archaeological, and biodiversity reports for project permits.
3. Analyzing relevant energy, environmental, and landscape regulations and jurisprudence.
4. Assisting in technical responses to authorities and stakeholders during permitting processes.
5. Managing documentation and coordination with external professionals for project authorization procedures.
6. Supporting due diligence processes focusing on environmental, regulatory, and permit aspects.
7. Conducting technical site visits for potential project areas.
8. Preparing technical documents (reports, maps) in GIS and CAD for project permits and connection requests.
9. Managing relationships with landowners and local brokers for site acquisitions.
10. Overseeing permit processes from submission to approval, including meetings with authorities.
11. Collaborating with internal teams such as engineering, legal, and finance.

Required Skills

1. Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Energy Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
2. Knowledge of permitting processes for renewable energy and storage projects.
3. Understanding of European and national regulations in energy, environment, and landscape.
4. At least three years of experience in feasibility studies, project design, site screening, regulatory analysis, and technical documentation for renewable projects.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Earth Pro, ArcGIS/QGIS, Photoshop, Word, Excel; experience with WindPRO, WindFarm, PVSyst, Rated Power is a plus.

Additional Qualities

• Willingness to undergo intensive training at Milan or Rome offices for 6-8 months.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational, proactive, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Availability for frequent travel within Italy for site visits and stakeholder meetings.
