Job Purpose

Under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is a key member of a Project Management team, working closely with Technical Services and Linguists. The role involves managing day-to-day project activities based on predefined production requirements and scope, including project setup, scheduling, quote preparation, file organization, task assignment, Quality Assurance, and client communication / delivery. The Coordinator also participates in internal meetings to discuss business issues and suggest improvements.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support client requirements, asset management, reporting, and meetings
  • Launch and coordinate projects, including scheduling and resource allocation
  • Perform administrative duties like project closures and folder maintenance
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure on-time delivery
  • Manage budgets and create / send POs to external resources
  • Ensure resources have necessary tools and are informed of changes
  • Support team members to complete daily tasks

Skills & Experience :

  • 1-3 years of project coordination in localization or translation industry
  • Customer service experience, familiarity with computing skills
  • Experience with TRADOS or similar tools preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail, quality focus
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
  • Proficient with MS Office, CAT tools, CRM, etc.
  • Degree in Business, Languages, Sciences, or related field
