Valeo Pianezza is seeking a Junior Project Buyer for a maternity leave to join our electronics development team. You will lead and support all purchasing activities across the project lifecycle, coordinating supplier selection, risk assessment and RFQ processes to secure optimal terms while ensuring quality and delivery.

This role requires a Bachelor/Master in Economics or Engineering and 6–9 months in purchasing, with fluency in Italian and English.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Economics or Engineering.
• 6–9 months of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Proactive, convincing, persistent, pragmatic and facilitator.
• Fluent Italian and English (native Italian). French a plus.

Mansioni

• Lead and support all purchasing activities throughout the project lifecycle from planning to closure.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with project goals to ensure quality, cost and delivery.
• Manage end-to-end supplier relationships including bid-list selection and risk assessment.
• Execute RFQ processes using negotiation and auction tactics to secure best terms.
• Drive project purchasing performance and cost-saving initiatives and ensure smooth transition to serial production.

We are searching for a Junior Project Buyer (m/f/d) for a maternity leave in Valeo Pianezza you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, in the electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment.

Your challenges? Lead and support all purchasing activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and supplier selection to final project closure, ensuring all milestones are successfully met Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies in alignment with project and commodity goals to achieve optimal quality, cost, and delivery conditions Manage the end-to-end supplier relationship, including bid-list selection, risk assessment (financial, technical, capacity), and coordinating supplier design and development activities to ensure full compliance with requirements Execute the complete RFQ process, utilizing negotiation and auction tactics to secure the best possible terms and make final sourcing decisions that meet project targets Drive and forecast project purchasing performance, lead productivity initiatives to achieve cost-saving targets, and ensure a smooth and documented transition from the project phase to serial production.

Let’s talk about you:

You are graduated from a Bachelor or Master Degree (Economics or Engineering) A first experience in a purchasing or procurement position is required (6-9 months) You are proactive, convincing, persistent, pragmatic and facilitator You can speak Italian (as native language) and have a fluent English. French would be a nice to have!
