A healthcare solutions provider based in Peschiera, Italy, is seeking a Junior Product Development Specialist. This role involves design control of products and components, participating in concept generation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates should have a BSc/MSc in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering and strong skills in teamwork and problem-solving. Basic CAD experience and proficiency in English are also required.

Competenze

• BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong team-working, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
• Basic experience using CAD software (SolidWorks for 3D modeling, AutoCAD for 2D drawings).
• Knowledge of ISO 20695 and ISO 13485.
• Good spoken and written English.

About the Role

The Junior Product Development Specialist will work on the design control of the Engineering Office product and component designs, in accordance with the requirements of the quality management system and of the mandatory regulations.

Main responsibilities and duties

• Define Device Design Input from User Requirements
• Participate in the concept generation process for products / components in accordance with the relevant requirements
• Test management of product / component concepts
• Design Verification & Validation, ensuring that the Device satisfies Design Input
• Design Traceability
• Participate in the Design Transfer of the Device to Production department, providing appropriate technical support
• Manage the Design Documentation of the Device, supporting the creation of the Design History file
• ERP Data management of components and products (BOM)

Key Competencies / Qualifications / Skills

• BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
