Junior Procurement Specialist - Stage

The Junior Procurement Specialist supports the Category Manager in managing the raw materials procurement process, in coordination with other company functions. The purpose of the position is to ensure that production plants have raw materials available within the required timelines in order to provide continuity to the production process.

Main Activities

  • Activities related to purchasing planning: scouting, commercial negotiation, continuous improvement of purchasing conditions;
  • Research activities of new potential suppliers, worldwide;
  • Operational activities related to purchasing functions and of the proper management and maintenance of data in the company management system. Preparation of reports and presentation of data to relevant business functions;
  • Daily analysis of requirements expressed by RDAs (“purchase requisitions”) issued by relevant managers;
  • Transformation of RDAs into ODAs (“purchase orders”) and sending them to suppliers;
  • Requesting, receiving and managing order confirmations;
  • Managing reports and reminders to suppliers.

Requirements Of The Position

  • Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics or Supply Chain Management;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package, in particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP (preferred);
  • Good knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
  • Residence or domicile in the territory.
