BayWa r.e. Power Solutions S.r.l., a subsidiary of BayWa r.e. GmbH, is responsible for the development, sales, and implementation of energy solutions for international commercial and industrial clients.

Role Information

In a continuously growing work environment, we are expanding our team in Italy and are looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist (m/f/d) – apprenticeship contract. The candidate will collaborate with colleagues in the Procurement & Logistics team, reporting to the department manager.

During the apprenticeship, supported by team colleagues, they will assist the Procurement & Logistics department in carrying out, developing, and improving activities, with the goal of becoming increasingly autonomous:

  • Purchasing and sourcing of technical materials and services
  • Drafting and reviewing subcontracting contracts
  • Participating in contract negotiations and sourcing activities
  • End-to-end procurement process, cost analysis, and supplier scouting
  • Supplier performance analysis and corrective actions
  • Warehouse inventory management and departmental documentation
  • Supporting Sales & Project Management teams and other departments

Preferred Requirements:

  • Studies in Electrical Engineering, Management Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics, Business Economics, or similar
  • Brief experience (1-2 years) in Technical Purchasing Office and/or Logistics
  • Interest and curiosity about tools, processes, and procedures in Procurement & Logistics
  • Good knowledge of MS Office 365
  • Excellent command of English (minimum level B2)
