A global leader in vehicle technologies is seeking a Junior Plant Controller in Reggio Emilia. This role involves managing Opex and Capex processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and collaborating with local management to enhance business profitability. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Economics/Accounting and significant experience in controlling within manufacturing. Fluency in Italian and English is required, along with proficiency in ERP systems and MS Tools.

Competenze

  • 3 years or more of controlling experience in medium and large companies, preferably in manufacturing plants.
  • Proficiency in MS Tools like Excel, Power Point, Word.

Mansioni

  • Lead Opex process collaborating with functions, collecting data, and performing monthly reports.
  • Manage ICM from a controlling standpoint and match data with HFM and our ERP SAP System.
  • Manage Capex process in SAP for Local and US GAAP purposes.

Position Summary

We're looking for a Junior Plant Controller in Reggio Emilia. The position will be fully involved in Opex and Capex processes, managing both forecast / budget activities and variance analysis. The position contributes to the accuracy of monthly closing and weekly indicators while respecting deadlines and Dana policies. Moreover, the position participates in studies and action plans together with local management and all departments of the Grand Reggio entities to provide controlling tools and support to improve the profitability of the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead Opex process collaborating with functions, collecting data, and performing monthly reports.
  • Manage ICM (Capex tool) from a controlling standpoint and match data with HFM and our ERP SAP System.
  • Manage Capex process in SAP (new assets, depreciation process, dismissals…) for Local and US GAAP purposes.
  • Manage Pro-Lease System (US GAAP purposes), monthly update and reconciliation with SAP GL.
  • Analyze actual data, checking variances and supporting functions to propose corrective actions.
Main Opportunities and Challenges

CONTRIBUTION IMPACT TO :

  • Preparation of the rolling forecasts, budget, and variance analysis.
  • Definition and follow-up with IT of the improvements needed in SAP.
  • Implementation of new Dana policies and provide studies required by Management.
Major Internal Relationships

Local : Controlling, Accounting (local and shared services), HR, Purchase, ENG, IT and SG&A

Intragroup : Finance BU and Corporate, Logistic, continuous improvement, other entities.

Job Position Requirements

Education : University bachelor degree in Economics / Accounting.

Professional Background :

  • Controlling experience in medium and large companies, preferably in manufacturing plants (3 years or more).
Hard Skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Tools (Excel, Power Point, Word).
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems.
Considered as a Plus :
  • SAP FI-CO and / or other modules.
