Overview

Join to apply for the Junior Offshore Structural Engineer role at Saipem.

Purpose of the position: As Offshore Structural Engineer you will be part of the Asset Based Services business line within OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL & ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN. You will support the team in interfacing with other Project Specialists and Designers, and coordinate and review technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem.

Responsibilities

• Review Client technical documentation and requirements
• Contribute to writing the Project Structural Design Brief (roadmap of all structural design and analyses work on the project)
• Contribute to defining structural design premises
• Design structural systems and components, aiming for sound engineering and design optimization in terms of costs, fabrication simplicity, constructability and safety
• Write design reports and calculation notes

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Master’s Degree or bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Languages: English B2
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer
• Travel: Some travelling within worldwide locations is expected
