As a Jr Medical Advisor Specialty Care, you will be an expert for the assigned product, providing scientific support within the therapeutic areas to internal and external stakeholders. Your role involves fostering, cultivating, and maintaining credible and unbiased medical and scientific dialogue to ensure an effective presence in the company's therapeutic area.

You will support the implementation of scientific initiatives such as advisory boards, digital activities, clinical, epidemiological, observational trials, etc., following a strategic / tactical plan aligned with the Brand Plan, meeting timelines and costs, and complying with the company's standards and applicable legislation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical affairs and cross-functional teams to define and implement key strategic messages and medical activities, including digital editorial plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with medical associations, external experts, and relevant stakeholders to enhance the scientific community's knowledge of products and development activities.
• Monitor trials within your area of competence to ensure scientific validity, compliance with plans, and support for publication of trial results in scientific journals.
• Assist in providing scientific advice to Regulatory Authorities through Local Regulatory Affairs (LRA) documentation.
• Collaborate with Corporate Medical Affairs to define communication strategies and develop medical / scientific initiatives ensuring accurate and compliant scientific communication about company products.
• Participate in training for customer-facing roles.
• Ensure all interactions and engagement activities adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards, aligning with BI values.

Requirements

• University degree in life sciences or related field; higher degrees (e.g., MSc, PhD) are a plus.
• Scientific Degree; Doctoral (MD) degree in Medicine is a plus but not mandatory.
• Solid medical / scientific background with previous experience in the cardio-metabolic area is strongly preferred.
• Experience in new drug launches is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in similar roles.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry processes.
• Highly customer-focused with an awareness of business results.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
