Flex is seeking a Master’s degree holder in Mechanical Engineering for the Flex Design Center in Milan to contribute to the mechanical design of connected medical devices as part of an experienced team.

You will execute feasibility studies, build proof-of-concept prototypes, and deliver high-quality reports supported by simulations and tests, spanning from prototype development to full production.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of kinematics mechanisms and production technology processes.
• CAD tool competence, CREO or SOLIDWORKS preferred.
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical topics.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Develop the mechanical components of medical devices in a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform feasibility studies and build proof-of-concept prototypes for evaluation.

We are looking for young professionals with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering to join Flex Design Center in Milan.

In this role you will be part of an experienced team to pro-actively support in the mechanical design of connected medical devices. You will execute technical assessments, perform simulations and implement innovative and cost-effective solutions, from prototype development to full scale production.

What a typical day looks like:

• You will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop the mechanical components of medical devices.
• Perform feasibility studies and build proof of concept prototypes for assessment.
• Provide high quality technical reports supported by simulations and/or lab tests.

Here is some of what you’ll need:

• MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Kinematics Mechanism and Production Technology Processes knowledge.
• CAD tool competence (with preference for CREO or SOLIDWORKS).
• Great communication skills – explaining technical topics.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
