Job summary

IRCA Group in Gallarate, Lombardy, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to analyze equipment and production systems, identify improvements and support the implementation of new lines and solutions. You will work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to drive reliability and performance.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 2+ years in manufacturing, with fluency in Italian and English. 40h/week, CCNL Alimentare Industria, and meal vouchers are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience as Mechanical Engineer in manufacturing (food or pharma preferred).
• Good understanding of industrial equipment and manufacturing systems; ability to troubleshoot.
• Proficient in Excel and AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Fluent Italian and English.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking and proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the mechanical aspects of equipment and production systems to identify improvements.
• Contribute to optimization and innovation of industrial processes for efficiency.
• Support development of equipment and solutions, evaluating suitable technologies.
• Monitor performance and provide technical support to the Maintenance team.
• Contribute to projects on new production lines and equipment.
