RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join its office in Bolzano within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division.

Mission

RINA is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team supporting a key client in the defence and heavy vehicle sector. The selected candidate will work on-site at the client’s premises in Bolzano, contributing to the design and development of mechanical components for heavy-duty applications.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
  • Collaborate with the client’s engineering team to define technical solutions aligned with project requirements.
  • Interpret technical specifications and translate them into 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • Ensure manufacturability and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Manage product data and documentation using Teamcenter PLM.
  • Participate in design reviews and support the implementation of design changes.

Education

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in heavy-duty or industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and familiarity with Teamcenter.
  • Good knowledge of ferrous materials (e.g., steel, cast iron) and related manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
