We are searching for an innovative mechanical engineer, even without experience, willing to learn and collaborate with other teams to face and solve critical issues in the PCB industry.

Role and Responsibilities

The resource will be included in the R&D mechanical team and will work on:

• Designing new mechanical assemblies for the different subsystems of the tool;
• Writing all documentation related to the newly designed parts/assemblies, including procedures for mounting these on the tool for the manufacturing team;
• Supporting the manufacturing team as needed;
• Analyzing assemblies to reduce the costs of existing tools.

Reporting

The resource will be part of the R&D mechanical team and will work under the direction of the technical leader. For non-technical reasons, the resource will report directly to the R&D Manager.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate:

• Has a Mechanical Engineering Master’s degree;
• Has good knowledge of CAD software tools for mechanical design;
• Has good knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transport in different materials;
• Has a good command of the English language (B2 or higher);
• Is curious and eager to learn;
• Has innovative ideas and is willing to try, even if it means failing;
• Is patient, as R&D work requires multiple iterations to find the best solution;
• Offers different viewpoints to the technical leader;
• Enjoys teamwork and collaboration within the R&D department;
• Wants to work in an international environment, dealing with demanding customers.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree with 0 years of related work experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related work experience.
