Job summary

Etinars is seeking a System Administrator Linux for a freelance or fixed-term engagement in Rome. You will support a European space programs team, maintaining Linux systems and collaborating across international stakeholders in a structured environment.

The role requires hands-on Linux expertise, database familiarity, and English at B2 level. On-site work five days a week in Rome is expected, with potential for documentation and test-validation contributions.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Linux environments.
• Familiarity with at least one relational database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• English proficiency (minimum B2) – written and spoken.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Rome.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and system-level support for test and validation environments.
• Support the writing and review of technical documentation.
• Participate in system verification and validation activities.
• Interface with technical teams during testing and deployment phases.
• Assist with monitoring, log analysis, and problem troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure system integrity during operational phases.
