A global sustainability consultancy firm, ERM, is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to provide support for legal aspects within their consulting team. Located in Milan, the role involves preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and ensuring effective communication between business and legal functions.

Competenze

• 1 to 2 years of experience.
• Passed the bar exam or is not interested in passing it.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A great opportunity has arisen for someone to work within the legal consulting team at ReachCentrum, part of the wider ERM group (global pure play sustainability consultancy firm).

The Legal Counsel will be based in Milan.

The Role

The Junior Legal Counsel ensures accurate, timely and value-added support to the team’s needs for all ReachCentrum service lines.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and contracts, assisting with the signature of legal documents
• Acting as a liaison among the business and legal for legal requests and coordinating the reviews
• Assisting with legal reviews and advice
• Conducting legal analysis and research
• Fluent spoken and excellent written English
• Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good team player, meticulous, high attention to detail, proactive, with good communication skills
• Prior REACH Regulation knowledge is a plus.

The successful candidate shall ideally have :

• 1 to 2 years of experience
• Passed the bar exam or is not interested in passing the bar exam
• Proficiency in English written and spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to details and a commitment to accuracy
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
