A leading generator manufacturer in Italy is seeking a Jr Legal Counsel to support their Legal department. This role includes reviewing contracts, assisting with M&A activities, and ensuring compliance with data privacy laws. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Law and 2-5 years of relevant experience. Excellent command of English and Italian is required, along with strong analytical skills. This position is based in Florence.

Pramac, part of the world’s leading gas generator and third largest diesel generator manufacturer, is looking for a Jr Legal Counsel to support the Legal department in the preparation of general contracts, support M&A activities, and assist with compliance and data privacy activities.

PRIMARY SCOPE AND GOALS

The Jr Legal Counsel will support the Legal Function in corporate activities such as contract review, corporate governance, and compliance. The role offers the opportunity to gain experience in an international Corporate Legal Department, including supporting M&A activities.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contract review: Review and draft general contracts and deeds related to domestic and international commercial law, Real Estate, labor law, consumer law, e-commerce law, IT, Intellectual Property Rights, Sponsorships, trade practices, and finance-related matters.
  • Corporate Governance: Preparation of governing body meetings, minutes, resolutions, and proxies.
  • Supporting M&A activities: Assist during M&A processes.
  • Compliance: Support in managing the Model of Organization, Management, and Control ex D.Lgs. 231/01, and other corporate compliance and ethics programs.
  • Data Privacy: Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy and security laws, aligning internal procedures with GDPR 679/16 and privacy policies.
  • Litigation: Coordinate litigation activities with external counsel.

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of Italian and international law.
  • Excellent command of English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
  • Attention to detail, teamwork skills, high problem-solving ability, and resilience under pressure.

BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a structured environment.
