Role: Junior Legal Counsel

You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel - Southern Europe Hub (Italy, Portugal & Spain) and collaborate closely with legal teams across countries. After training, you will draft and review legal documents, focusing on commercial, consumer, and competition law, and handle corporate housekeeping matters. Your work will mainly involve corporate and commercial legal issues, including reviewing, drafting, negotiating complex agreements, and engaging in M&A, antitrust, privacy, and IP matters.

You will have the opportunity to develop skills in other legal areas aligned with your interests.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and review legal documents such as NDAs and corporate resolutions.
  • Support legal matters related to commercial, consumer, and competition law.
  • Maintain and improve the global contracting management system.
  • Assist in legal proceedings and disputes.
  • Handle administrative tasks and participate in projects and ad hoc requests.
  • Coordinate with external law firms when needed.
  • Manage legal processes and implement improvements.
  • Promote a culture of respect, transparency, and inclusivity.
  • Own work assignments, think innovatively, and challenge the status quo.
  • Handle compliance issues, especially regarding data protection, and provide legal opinions.
Profile
  • 0.5-2 years' experience in law firms or in-house legal teams within an international setting.
  • Italian law degree; Bar admission is a plus.
  • Strong interest in commercial, consumer, and competition law.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial.
  • Pragmatic, customer-focused, and collaborative.
