Junior IT Developer Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Application Analysis & Development

• Support the collection and documentation of functional and technical requirements by working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear, structured technical documentation
• Assist in the development and maintenance of basic software components (frontend/backend), following team guidance.
• Contribute to the design and modeling of IT processes and application workflows
• Participate in testing and support quality assurance activities
• Document technical solutions and contribute to user manuals or support documentation

Academic IT Support & Field Interaction

• Provide technical support to faculty, students, and staff for devices and applications (e.g., PCs, projectors, printers, BlackBoard, O365, etc.).
• Interact directly with users to understand their needs, identify recurring issues or in efficiencies, and help design more effective, user-centered solutions
• Help transform support cases into opportunities for improvements through automation or smarter system configurations
• Aid in setting up and maintaining classrooms and labs

Qualifications:

• Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript and/or Python.
• Familiarity with at least one development framework: (.NET, Angular or React – even via university/personal projects)
• Basic understanding of relational or NoSQL databases
• Interest in Agile methodologies and understanding of the CI/CD development life cycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you enjoy talking to people and finding solutions together
• Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn by doing
• Bonus skills (not mandatory but nice to have): Knowledge of Azure DevOpsor different similar tools
