Imagine your job:

As a Junior Process Engineer , you will be part of Novamont , a Versalis company. In particular, within your Corporate Engineering team , you will be responsible for supporting the structure in the development of innovation projects relating to downstream and upstream plants in the bioplastics and chemical intermediates segment.

Main activities:

  • Collaborate in the development of new products and production processes.
  • Participate in the design and conduct of experimental tests at the pilot laboratory/industrial demonstrator level.
  • Collaborate in defining unit operations to ensure correct scale transitions.
  • Develop and process material and energy balances while being familiar with process simulation models.
  • Participate in the drafting of technical-economic feasibility studies for the implementation of new initiatives.
  • Collaborate in improving production processes.
  • Participate in the study and design activities of process plants and equipment from basic engineering and when required up to detail by developing technical specifications and sizing.


Required features:

  • Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Maximum 3 years experience preferably in industrial chemical processes
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Project Management is appreciated
  • Availability to travel and/or stay for extended periods at other units of the Company
