Junior Hardware IC Engineer Job Overview

As a Junior Hardware IC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing production and commercialization tools for our proprietary ASIC ecosystem. These include, but are not limited to, testboards, microcontroller programmers/debuggers, and evaluation boards.

Main Activities

1. Schematic design of low-frequency analog and digital circuits
2. Layout adjustments to address issues
3. Testing and documentation of the designed hardware
4. Basic development on microcontrollers and FPGAs

Qualifications and Background

• Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields
• Fundamentals of microcontrollers and FPGAs
• Knowledge of MCU peripherals such as TIMER, ADC, DAC, DMA, SPI, I2C, UART
• Proficiency in at least one Electronics CAD tool (schematic/layout)
• Familiarity with C programming language
• Understanding of digital protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Altium Designer
