Junior Group Controller
Position will based in Ciriè (Italy). Home office on a partially base is possible.
Responsibilities:
- Support the month end closing process under leadership of the Head of Group Controlling. Includes responsibility for financial analysis at group level and entity level, set up of controlling checks to improve reporting quality at group and plant level. Follow up for assigned entities.
- Responsible for preparation of templates, coordination of tasks, managing timely and quality submission from entities, consolidation of figures, and Analysis.
- Perform internal audits at group production companies: Support to Head of group controlling in internal audits in plants: to check that plants are following all procedures and policies created by group. Support in elaboration of internal audit action plans and follow-up in coordination with the Head of group controlling.
- Support the Group Budget and forecasting preparations: Collections and analysis of the financial data from entities, monitoring variances, summarizes trends and investigates budget/ FC deficiencies.
- Support group capex controlling topics, including reinforcement of group policy and training of local finance managers on capital expenditure approval analysis and preparation, where needed.
- Support to CFO/ Head of Group Controlling in elaboration of any ad hoc reports requested by top management.
- Participate in projects linked to controlling topics, including the analysis of business cases for new market entries and similar topics.
Requirements/Skills:
- Previous experience on Controlling and/or Financial Planning and Analysis functions, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Fluent English language
- Practical experience and intermediate knowledge of SAP (FI-CO modules)
- Advanced knowledge in MS office applications, particularly Excel
- IFRS knowledge an asset
