The Role

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research.

The Legal Affairs Directorate is coordinated by Antonella Fontana, who has extensive experience in Legal Affairs.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • management of data protection issues for IIT Research Units and Administrative Directorates;
  • drafting and reviewing of data protection clauses in Agreements and Contracts;
  • supporting in carrying out data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and legitimate interest assessment (LIAs);
  • drafting and reviewing appointment documents, disclosures, privacy statements, data protection agreement etc.
  • updating of the Record of the Processing Activities;
Essential Requirements
  • A master or bachelor, preferably in law or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and subsequent amendments and additions.
  • At least 6 months of previous experience in data protection management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Familiarity with the main IT software packages, including Word, Excel and Power Point.

Compensation Package
  • A yearly gross salary ranging between 25k and 30k, which may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract
  • Private health care coverage depending on your role and contract
