Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a long-term freelance collaboration across a fast-growing international group in travel, hospitality, and real estate. The role reports to the CEO/CFO and involves building scalable financial structures with autonomy across multiple companies.

You will own monthly close, prepare management analyses, and help drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of finance experience, including 1-2 years in audit.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Audit, or similar.

Mansioni

• Own and support monthly financial reporting and closing activities
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses for the CFO, CEO, and Board
• Monitor KPIs, profitability, margins, and overall business performance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Analyze revenues, costs, and cash flow across multiple business units
• Support intercompany reporting and consolidation activities
• Improve reporting tools, financial models, and internal finance processes

About the company

We are searching for an experienced Financial Controller on behalf of a confidential, fast-growing international group operating across travel, hospitality and real estate. Further details about the company will be shared during the interview process. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain existing processes, or simply looking for a traditional permanent position.

We are looking for a finance professional who thrives in entrepreneurial environments, enjoys building scalable financial structures and wants to play an active role in the growth of an ambitious international business.

The position is offered as a long-term freelance collaboration (VAT number required), designed for professionals who value autonomy, ownership and the opportunity to contribute across multiple companies within the Group, rather than a conventional employment structure.

As the Group continues its rapid expansion, the Financial Controller will become a key business partner to the CEO, CFO and executive leadership team, helping transform financial data into strategic decisions while strengthening reporting, planning and financial governance across multiple companies.

This is a hands-on position with real ownership, broad exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence the future direction of a business undergoing significant scale-up.

Requirements

Essential

• 5+ years of finance experience, ideally including 1-2 years in audit
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Audit, or a similar finance function
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities independently
• Professional proficiency in English

Preferred

• Experience in international or multi-company environments
• Previous exposure to private aviation, luxury, travel, hospitality, real estate, or fast-growing businesses
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Knowledge of French or additional languages

Compensation and collaboration

This position is offered as a long-term freelance collaboration (VAT number required), as you will provide financial support across multiple companies within the Group.

The successful candidate will receive a fixed monthly compensation, complemented by performance-based bonuses linked to the achievement of agreed KPIs, offering the opportunity to grow alongside an ambitious international luxury group.
