WTW is seeking a motivated intern to join the Facultative Reinsurance team in Milan. You will gain exposure to reinsurance placements, risk analysis, market research and administrative support while developing technical and commercial knowledge through on-the-job learning and structured training.

The role involves supporting presentations, documentation, data management and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely processing and accurate information.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Mathematics or a related field, or currently completing the final year of studies.
• Strong interest in the insurance and reinsurance sector.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Mansioni

• Assist in the collection, review and organization of client and risk information for facultative reinsurance placements.
• Support the preparation of presentations, submissions and placement documentation for reinsurers.
• Help maintain and update market data, placement records and internal systems.
• Assist the broking team in monitoring placement activities and tracking key documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Client Management, Claims, Legal and Finance teams, to ensure accurate and timely processing of information.
• Conduct market and industry research to support business initiatives and client projects.

WTW is growing its Facultative Reinsurance capabilities in Italy and is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Facultative team in Milan.

This internship represents a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the reinsurance industry, working alongside experienced brokers and supporting the delivery of facultative reinsurance solutions for a broad range of clients.

The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation of reinsurance placements, risk analysis activities, market research and administrative support, while developing technical and commercial knowledge through on-the-job learning and structured training.

Key Responsibilities

The Requirements

• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Positive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment.

Compensation

The compensation range and benefits information for this position are provided in accordance with local pay transparency regulations.

For this Extra-Curricular Internship, a gross annual internship allowance of €9,600 is provided.
