Austen Partners in Milan, Italy is seeking a Junior Equity Long/Short Analyst to join the investment team. You will work closely with a Senior L/S Portfolio Manager on a 3–6 month horizon, building models, researching stocks, and leveraging AI to提升 efficiency in the investment process.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of experience in Sell-side equity research, IB/MA, buy-side asset management, or accounting with financial statement analysis.

Competenze

• Build detailed financial models from scratch and update them as new information emerges.
• Conduct deep fundamental analysis of companies, financial statements, industries and competitors.
• Monitor news flow, earnings, corporate developments and market expectations.
• Identify mispriced opportunities and develop catalyst paths over investment horizons.
• Speak directly with company management and Investor Relations.
• Challenge assumptions and continuously update the investment case as facts change.
• Explore and implement AI tools to improve research and investment processes.
