Bosch Sensortec in Italy is seeking a Digital Verification Engineer to join our international semiconductor team. You will verify advanced Mixed-Signal and SoC ASICs using UVM, formal verification, and AI-assisted workflows, driving first-time-right quality.

Collaborate across global locations, develop scalable verification environments, and contribute from concept through production while using Python/Tcl and UPF.

Competenze

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with semiconductor focus.

Job Description

What will you take care of?

Join our international semiconductor team and help shape the next generation of consumer and automotive integrated circuits. As a Digital Verification Engineer, you will verify advanced Mixed-Signal and System-on-Chip (SoC) ASICs using state-of-the-art verification methodologies, leading EDA tools, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Your responsibilities

• Drive First-Time-Right Quality
  Design and develop scalable, reusable verification environments for complex ICs, ensuring robust product quality and accelerating successful first silicon bring-up.
• Apply Cutting-Edge Verification Techniques
  Leverage industry-leading functional and formal verification methodologies to validate digital designs, identify issues early, and contribute directly to product reliability and performance.
• Collaborate in a Global Engineering Network
  Work closely with highly skilled engineers across multiple international locations in a diverse and globally distributed development environment.
• Contribute Across the Full Product Lifecycle
  Actively participate from concept definition through design, verification, and qualification phases, helping to shape innovative semiconductor solutions from idea to production.
• Enable Engineering Excellence
  Document and continuously improve verification processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Your Experience & Technical Expertise

You have either:

• A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong focus on semiconductor design and verification.

In addition, you bring expertise in several of the following areas:

• ASIC verification methodologies, including UVM, formal verification, and directed verification
• Development and debugging of verification environments for complex Mixed-Signal or SoC designs
• Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art simulation, verification, and EDA tools
• Analog and mixed-signal modeling techniques, such as wreal, MATLAB/Simulink, or SystemC
• Power-aware verification and simulation methodologies, including UPF
• Scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Tcl, or similar
• Interest in applying AI-assisted engineering workflows to improve verification efficiency and quality
• Proficient English (C1) language skills
• Degree (Dipl./ M.Sc.) of electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent with outstanding results

In line withourcompensationpolicies, thegrossannualsalary(RAL) forthispositionlieswithinthe range € 35.000 - €40.000 for a 40-hour work week.
