We are looking for a Junior Digital Art Director to join Translated's Creative team and contribute to the development of creative concepts, visual identities, and communication projects across digital and physical touchpoints. This is an internship with a strong learning and mentoring focus, designed for someone who wants to grow as a creative thinker, not just a visual executor. We value curiosity, conceptual thinking, visual sensitivity, and the ability to turn ideas into meaningful communication. You will report to the Senior Digital Art Director and work closely with a Senior Visual Designer, and the Content team.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of creative concepts and visual storytelling for brand and communication projects.
• Help translate communication objectives and briefs into compelling visual ideas and design solutions.
• Support the art direction and design of digital campaigns, social media content, editorial projects, presentations, and brand experiences.
• Explore visual languages, references, and creative approaches to communicate ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other teams to develop coherent and impactful communication.
• Support the production and adaptation of creative assets across different channels, maintaining brand consistency.
• Learn to develop, present, refine, and execute creative ideas through feedback and collaboration.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Art Direction, Visual Communication, Communication Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking, with an interest in communication, storytelling, and brand building.
• Ability to approach a brief with curiosity, ask the right questions, and explore different creative solutions.
• Good understanding of visual composition, typography, layout, and digital design principles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma.
• Understanding of digital communication, social media, and contemporary visual culture.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, visual exploration, and design skills, including academic or personal projects.
• Good communication skills, openness to feedback, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Basic skills in motion graphics, video content, and animated assets, using tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with generative AI creative tools and an interest in exploring their role in the creative process.
