Dentsu in Milan offers a 6-month internship for a Junior data visualization role. We are looking for a Junior data visualization for an internship opportunity in Milan.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop attractive and innovative dashboards, working with internal and external clients to understand and meet their needs.

• Discover and collect data from heterogeneous sources, understand its value, and map it to a target or common data model.

• Identify and define key business metrics and KPIs in partnership with business stakeholders.

• Use different technologies to turn quantitative and qualitative data into compelling, user-centric visualizations and dashboards that support data-driven insights and decision-making.

• Apply best practices in data visualization design and continuously improve the user experience for business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with data engineers to produce data pipelines and automate report generation and distribution.

• Support end users with tool adoption and use active listening to identify new business opportunities.

• Apply problem-solving and strategic thinking to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and apply quantitative reasoning.

• Basic experience with or knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Datorama; relevant certifications are a plus.

• Basic ability to use SQL and NoSQL databases to explore, analyze, and validate heterogeneous data sources.

• Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including ETL, stage and core layers, dimensional modelling, and data marts, as well as SQL programming.

• Basic knowledge of UX design principles, including layout, typography, color, and interaction design.

• Demonstrates learning by adopting and sharing new ideas.

• Ability to work independently and apply problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in written and spoken English

We offer a 6-month internship with a monthly compensation of €800.
