Imagine your job:

As a Junior Data Engineer , you will be part of Plenitude Societa Benefit . In particular, within your Data Engineering & Data Platform team you will collaborate with other data experts (Data Scientist, Data Analyst, BI Expert) to build multifunctional teams, in order to create business value from data, working on the diffusion of the use of data, analytics and data products in the company.

Main activities:

• Integration of new data flows into existing data platforms;
• Provide data model design support and develop data products including perimeters, sizing and optimizations;
• Experiment with new tools and products;
• Apply best practices and guidelines to meet company-defined security and compliance requirements.

Required features:

• Master's degree in STEM field.
• Maximum 3 years of experience in the field.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language among: python, scala and java (python is a preferential requirement).
• Good knowledge of SQL language.
• Good command of the English language.

The profile is completed by:

• Knowledge of devops/dataops is appreciated: git, testing automation, ci/cd, shell-scripting.
• Knowledge of databricks and pyspark is appreciated.
• Knowledge of at least one of the main cloud platforms is appreciated: azure, aws, gcp (Azure is a preferred requirement).
• Basic knowledge of the main modeling principles and data approach (dwh, datavault, 3nr, star schema, snowflake, data/delta lake, data mesh, etc.) is appreciated.
