Savills Italy is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join the Research & Marketing Team at our Corporate Office in Milan. The role blends data management and analysis with cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights that support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has a strong Excel skillset, basic Python, and a passion for data, with fluency in Italian and English. Hybrid working arrangements are offered with a growing international environment.

We are looking for a talented, curious, and highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our Research & Marketing Team based at our Corporate Office in Milan.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about data and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic, international environment, while building strong relationships with key business stakeholders across the organization.

The role combines data management and analysis with cross-functional collaboration, delivering meaningful insights that help drive informed and strategic business decisions.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power Query;
• Fluency in both written and spoken Italian and English;
• Previous experience, including academic projects or internships, involving data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence;
• A genuine interest in data management, analytics, and market research.

What you will be responsible for?

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will:

• Collect, clean, validate, and structure datasets from multiple internal and external sources, with a particular focus on Excel-based data;
• Analyse and accurately map variables and data structures to ensure consistency and comparability across datasets;
• Perform data normalization activities on context-sensitive information, including currencies, units of measurement, product classifications, and local naming conventions;
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of comparative dashboards and reporting tools to facilitate cross-country and cross-functional analysis;
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights from large datasets;
• Contribute to technical documentation, data governance processes, and best practices;
• Present and communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactively identifying and designing new processes and tools to support all areas of the business.

What Skills Do We Consider Essential for This Role?

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas or VBA, PivotTables, Power Query, and data cleansing techniques;
• Basic knowledge of Python;
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and fundamental data management principles;
• Basic understanding of data visualization concepts and reporting best practices;
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms would be considered an advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively;
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality;
• Collaborative attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Compensation Package

• Permanent Contract with a competitive salary ranging from €26.000 to €32.000 gross per year depending on experience;
• Annual discretionary bonus linked to individual and company performance.
