Job Opportunity: IT Cyber Security Designer

Location: Bologna, Italy

For the Transportation Division of Ozzano, SITE SpA is seeking an IT Cyber Security Designer specialized in cybersecurity. The role involves supporting the design, implementation, and security analysis of data network systems within railway projects and beyond, including international projects.

The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining ICT security systems, testing new security solutions, and investigating incidents and intrusions.

Requirements:

1. Degree in a technical field (e.g., Information Engineering)
2. At least 2 years of relevant experience
3. Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity mechanisms (Hardware and Software) (e.g., Firewall, DMZ) and familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and techniques (e.g., Antivirus, Sandbox, Malware Analysis, SIEM, Debugging, Disassembling)
4. Good understanding of IPS/IDS technologies and tools
5. Knowledge of Risk Assessment and Prevention methodologies
6. Experience with popular operating systems and programming languages such as Python, C++, Java
7. Knowledge of virtualization architecture on ESXi VMware platform
8. Familiarity with Active Directory and authentication mechanisms (e.g., Radius, AAA)
9. Mandatory: Proficiency in French language
10. Availability for international travel approximately 20% of the working time
11. Experience with Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking is a plus

Work Location:

Ozzano dell’Emilia, with short-term international travel.
