Job summary

KPMG Advisory S.p.A. in Italy is offering an internship/entry-level opportunity for graduates in Economics, Management, or Finance.

You will participate in SAP FI implementation projects, learn to analyze accounting processes, gather requirements, and assist in configuring the SAP FI module, supporting testing and documentation. The role emphasizes teamwork, English proficiency, and willingness to travel within Italy and abroad, with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Are about to graduate or recently graduated in Economics, Management, Finance or a related field.
• Understand the principles of general accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial statements.
• Familiar with order-to-cash and procure-to-pay concepts, invoicing and VAT requirements.
• Interested in process digitalisation and how enterprise systems support finance functions.
• Have good analytical skills and a precise, organised approach.
• Confident using Excel and the Office suite; introductory SAP course is a plus.
• Good command of English and enjoy working in a team.
• Willing to travel in Italy and abroad as project needs require.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in analysing the client’s accounting and administrative processes.

This opportunity is offered as either a paid internship offering a monthly allowance of €800 for curricular internships and €1,000 for extracurricular internships or a standard employment contract under the collective labour agreement for the commerce sector, with a starting gross annual salary of €30,000. The salary is determined on the basis of objective criteria, including educational qualifications and an assessment of the candidate’s profile against the requirements of the role.
