Competenze

Your new role

As our new HSE junior consultant, you should have 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, Transaction, and Corporate Services, with a focus on Health & Safety and Environmental Compliance, or due diligence work in the M&A sector emphasizing sustainability assessment, planning, and strategy. Candidates can work in a fully hybrid pattern from our Rome office, in line with our flexible working policy.

Your key responsibilities will be:

1. Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence
2. Execution of EHS compliance audits
3. Execution of ESG review
4. Participating directly in assignments, interacting with clients and third parties (e.g., lawyers, advisors, vendors/buyers, regulators), requiring strong soft skills like negotiation, communication, strategic vision, problem-solving, and teamwork
5. Proposal and reporting in Italian or English

You will be part of a successful team composed of engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, and others working together on international projects related to contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk, and sustainability. About you

From your start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional growth. To succeed in this role, the following qualifications, skills, and capabilities are important:

• A Master’s degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or similar
• Knowledge of D. Lgs 152/2006, D. Lgs. 81/2008, ASTM standards
• Fluency in Italian & English, both spoken and written; knowledge of a third language (e.g., German, Spanish, French) is a plus
• Knowledge of decommissioning, REACH, and CLP regulations is a plus
