Your new role

As our new EHS Junior Consultant, you should have 2-3 years’ experience in Compliance, Transaction, and Corporate Services, with a focus on Health & Safety compliance and due diligence work in the M&A sector, particularly in EHS assessment, planning, and strategy.

This position offers a fully hybrid working pattern from our Rome or Milan office, in line with our flexible work policy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence
• Execution of EHS compliance audits
• Execution of H&S Risk Assessments and review of H&S Plans
• Execution of ESG reviews
• Participating directly in assignments, interacting with clients and third parties (e.g., lawyers, advisors, vendors/buyers, regulators), requiring strong soft skills such as negotiation, communication, strategic vision, problem-solving, and teamwork
• Preparing proposals and reports in Italian or English

Your new team

You will join a successful team of engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, and others working together in an international network. Our projects mainly involve contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk, and sustainability. You will contribute to a sustainable future within an open, collaborative, and empowering culture.

About you

From your first day at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional growth. To succeed in this role, we have identified some essential qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

• A Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Knowledge of D. Lgs. 81/2008, D. Lgs 152/2006, and ASTM standards
• Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written; proficiency in a third language (e.g., German, Spanish, French) is a plus
• Knowledge of decommissioning, REACH, and CLP regulations is advantageous
