Junior Consultant | Digital Finance Transformation

Do Work That Matters - Your role and responsibilities

At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to help clients, the company, and colleagues address and solve complex challenges. KPMG Advisory offers consulting services in business model transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk analysis, and finance transactions.

Joining the Digital Finance Transformation team in Padua, you will work with skilled professionals and clients across industries, building your career in a collaborative environment that values growth and open discussions.

You will collaborate with experienced colleagues in functional consulting, assisting clients in analyzing, reviewing, and designing processes to support CFO decision-making.

Specifically, your tasks will include:

  1. Analyzing industries to understand business requirements related to processes, models, market analysis, and IT landscapes across sectors like manufacturing, fashion, pharma, utilities, and food retail.
  2. Supporting the CFO and finance department by redesigning processes, procedures, and enhancing IT tools in areas such as planning, reporting, product costing, and closing/consolidation.
  3. Designing and configuring solutions for finance support, implementing them using tools like Microsoft PBI, Board, Knime, Alteryx, or collaborating with external partners.
  4. Managing transformation projects for Italian and international companies, defining goals, timelines, and coordinating among stakeholders.
  5. Supporting digital transformation initiatives within the financial department, including organizational structure, skills development, training, and operational frameworks.

Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics

This role is ideal if you have:

  • A master’s degree in Business Administration or Management Engineering with excellent results.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, with study or work experience abroad preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of controlling models, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Board, and ERP systems is a plus.
