A global eyewear company in Milan is seeking a designer to drive the aesthetic direction of their brand. You will collaborate with the eyewear design team on color and material selection and stay updated on market trends. The role requires experience in product design, proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign, and a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, or Engineering. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative eyewear solutions.

Competenze

• 1-3 years of experience in product, fashion, or CMF design studio.
• Understanding of color composition and theory for materials.
• Experience with surface and print/pattern design is a plus.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

Helping drive the aesthetic direction of the brand through research, design, and use of color.

Supporting designers and product development with color and material selection to create solutions for our categories.

Collaborating with the eyewear design team to execute color deliverables based on key categories and market-driven requirements.

Assisting in presenting color trends and palettes at concept debut.

Staying current with eyewear market trends, category innovations, and product design developments.

Creating original vector-based prints and patterns, working with product line managers on new solutions for collections.

Managing calendars, timelines, and deadlines to ensure timely product and collection completion.

Enhancing knowledge in color to partner with Development in translating color concepts into products.

The main material focus will be Metal and Injection Molding.

• TECHNICAL SKILLS - PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE
• 1-3 years of experience in product, fashion, or CMF design studio
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fashion, or Engineering
• Proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign
• MS Office skills
• Experience with 3D software (Rhinoceros, Autodesk, Keyshot)
• Strong aesthetic presentation skills
• Understanding of color composition and theory for materials
• Experience with surface and print/pattern design is a plus
• Knowledge of digital color processing (RGB, CMYK, L.A.B.)
