Junior Cloud Application Engineer

As a European leader in Wealth Management and Enterprise Risk Management solutions, Prometeia is seeking a Junior Delivery Specialist to join its IT team in Milan or Bologna.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The selected candidate will support internal customers in configuring, managing, and integrating our software products, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate has a solid technical background and is motivated to learn and grow in a challenging environment.

MAIN TASKS:

• Monitoring and optimizing applications on cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Supporting microservice environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configuring and managing web servers like IIS and NginX.
• Interacting with SQL Server and NoSQL databases to support application needs.
• Implementing procedures for integrating customer data with Prometeia's cloud products.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Basic understanding of Unix-based OS like Ubuntu and Red Hat.
• Experience with microservices (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with web servers (IIS, NginX).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Skills in scripting and automation with Python and PowerShell.
• Experience with Databricks and data analysis tools.
