RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior CFD Engineer to join its office in TURIN within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experience with industry-standard software tools such as Metacomp CFD++ and Tecplot. You will play a key role in developing and analyzing advanced fluid flow models and post-processing data for projects in aerospace engineering and related industries.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop, run, and validate CFD simulations for complex aerodynamic and fluid flow problems.
  • Utilize Metacomp CFD++ to model multi-physics systems, including compressible and incompressible flows, heat transfer, and turbulence.

Education

Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and use of the CATIA v.5 tool (familiarity with the CATIA v.6 environment is appreciated);
  • Excellent knowledge and use of mesh generation software (particularly ANSA BETACAE);
  • Excellent knowledge and use of CFD calculation software (particularly Metacomp CFD++);
  • Excellent knowledge and use of CFD results post-processing software (particularly Tecplot);
  • Knowledge and use of MATLAB (or similar) software and basic programming skills;
  • Good familiarity with the Microsoft Office package;
  • Knowledge of English;
  • Knowledge and familiarity with FORTRAN programming is a plus;
  • Previous experience in the aeronautical field with CFD calculations is a plus.
