Overview

Join to apply for the Junior Buyer Services role at Webuild. For our Headquarters in Milan, we are looking for a Junior Buyer Services.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Global Commodity Manager and coordinating with Unit buyers in managing the budget and defining the purchasing strategy for goods and services, in close collaboration with the requesting entities.
  • Managing the entire sourcing process: defining the Supplier List within the Vendor List, preparing requests for proposal to submit to suppliers, and managing commercial and contractual negotiations to pursue cost-effectiveness, synergy, quality excellence, and lead time optimization.
  • Contributing to the achievement of company, department and unit objectives.
  • Adhering to and ensuring procurement and compliance procedures.
  • Analyzing, comparing and evaluating bids from suppliers, ensuring technical verification by the requesting Corporate Departments/Operational Units, and preparing summary tabulations of final bids with recommendations.
  • Drafting terms and conditions related to contracts/purchase orders, with support from the Legal and Contract Departments and in coordination with the requesting Departments.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers in compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, and the Anti-Corruption Model.
  • Supporting Regional Procurement Managers and Purchasing Managers in implementing Operational Unit procurement plans to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supporting analysis of reporting and identifying corrective actions, in consultation with the Global Commodity Manager and Vendor Management, to manage and mitigate issues in the procurement process.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in the role within multinational settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Economics/Law.
  • Market analysis and benchmarking skills.

  • Contractual skills; ability to read and implement major contract clauses.
